We are pleased to present this lovely 1984 280 SL Convertible. Finished in Metallic Gold with Black MB Tex Synthetic Leather, it is an extremely well presented example and a very usable classic. It comes with a remarkable service record in the form of the original Mercedes-Benz service book comprising of 16 service stamps plus a ring binder full of receipts, numerous previous MOT's going all the way back to 1991, along with a handful of photographs and the odometer shows just under 76,500 miles. The car drives very well in our experience, with both the engine and gearbox being smooth and responsive on test drive. It comes with the removable factory hardtop and has the folding soft-top underneath.
Prior to sale it will be mechanically checked over, SERVICED and have a new 12 MONTH MOT upon handover - Due to being over 40 years old, it also may benefit from historic car tax and MOT exemption, however we recommend prospective buyers to make their own independent verification on such matters.
